PS or GIMP?

None of the above for me.
When I was more into graphics I used to mainly use a program called MS Photodraw.
Yet I have both GIMP &PS CS3 on my computer, lol.

I will get around to learning.. one day x}

Photoshop is the best but is hard. Gimp has almost everything as Photoshop but it's less hard.

I oppose. Gimp is harder.

I like GIMP better. For one it's free.. and for two you create the options, instead of choosing which option you want to use.

Photoshop is better. GIMP isn't good... very hard, doesn't make sense, and Argie... why would you want to "create" the options? I'd rather have them built in, so I don't have to go through numerous steps to make a drop shadow.

Yes, Photoshop is much better if you want everything to be easier, which would definetly be helpful. But, for more advanced users, GIMP is better. It's like going to a salad bar and what you want in your salad or choosing what is in the salad bar so your salad can taste better, have more of the stuff you like, etc.

Personally, I wouldn't go into trouble to make my own salad bar, which is the downside.

Photoshop CS4 is much more powerful. Gimp isn't capable of the advanced 3D rendering, etc.

@Argie - it's extremely advanced ; it's not normal 3D. It's... different. Gimp is capable of half of what Photoshop can do. You don't see experts using gimp.

Advertisers keep advertisements simple and all the other experts get it because it is a lotta money and easy to use.

You have to see CS4... it does a lot. It's not that easy once you do the 'hardcore' stuff.
